sorry- been out of commission. No internet at home. Air conditioner broke and had to buy a window unit. RV air conditioner would have been about $1500 to fix. Less than $200 and we are in business again.

Not at home right now. Son and I are in TN with my mom. Two days ago I received a phone call at 7am from one of my aunts. Mom was in an ambulance and on her way to the hospital. After test were ran, our thoughts were confirmed- mom had a stroke. Please pray and keep us in your thoughts. Hubby drove us up here two days ago. He returned yesterday since he can’t miss time due to training. Don’t know how long we will be here.

    I’m sorry to hear that your mom is doing poorly. I know how frustrating it would be to not be able to go help her, so I’m glad you could.

    I’ve been struggling with the whole internet thing, too. It is so difficult to get anything done without it. I had not realized how many things I did on the computer–grocery ads, emails to deal with business, reading blogs, writing my blog, on-line shopping, etc.

    We now have limited internet–but I’m jumping up and down with excitement! They’ve rigged it up so we can pull off of my brother-in-law’s, but we can’t overload it, so no internet in the evenings, until after 9. Also, any other time when several of us want to use it–we can’t. I can live with that!!!

    Oh PCW, I am so sorry to hear this. I’ve been out of commission for such a long time myself. Mom troubles can really throw us for a loop, that’s for sure. My prayers go up for your mom and your entire family. {{{hugs}}}
