Wow, it was a long one.

Just now getting home and I need to cook, but I am tired. We left out by 830am. Hubby had to go back to complete his physical.  I am happy to announce, he was cleared and received his certificate!!image

We also had to run over to Tampa to pick up a voucher to pay for IT certifications. This will help him get an IT job…..eventually.

we returned to Orlando so that he could get his permit for his CDL license. We then stopped by the house, rested for about 30 minutes and then had another meeting to go to. Stopped by pharmacy, then onto Walmart to purchase a few things we needed – like toilet bio cleaner! Lol

it was a long day and thankfully we have left over black beans from last night. Little cooking for me!! Hope everyone has an awesome day. Thanks for reading.

Well, that is wonderful news! When does he get to start, now that these hurdles are over? So glad his BP came down for more reasons than the job.

He has to wait for someone to call him and get him back in for new hire paperwork. But he is tentatively scheduled for 5/21. It is going to be a very tough 2 months while he is in training – but as soon as he is out, he can start getting overtime. Thats going to help us soooo much.

Boy! That’s next Saturday (because that’s the day we are having family and friends move us out so the date stands out in my mind!)

        I’m excited for you.

Thank you! He wants to take a few days off before going there, which I would be ok with. But goofy wants to go down to the Keys and stay in our van. lol

He must want a grand adventure before starting into a time-consuming job:) Would that be fun? Do you have somewhere to sleep in there?

The seats will lean back and we could sleep, but it wouldnt be the most comfy. It would take about 8 hrs to get there. At least a tank of gas each way. The only state park I can find available is $40 plus tax for one night. Then of course, we would need food! lol I think once I ran the numbers for him – he decided not to!! But yes, he wanted to do something fun before he got strapped into a very time consuming job. lol

That would actually be pretty expensive at a time when you are strapped for cash. I’m sorry. Is there anything else that would be fun for him?

That’s what I told him. He thought the park stay would be cheaper. I knew better. Everything is expensive in the keys! Lol. I talked to him and he said maybe a day trip somewhere near. Lol. He just didn’t know the expense with it and also said, “Hey, a guy can dream, right?!?!”
